How to Build the Treasure Chest and Sparkling Jewels Habitat
Like most Pokemon in Pokopia, you need to create the right habitat to summon Toxapex. For Toxapex in particular, you need to create the Treasure Chest and Sparkling Jewels habitat.
How to Get Sparkling Jewelry
Sparkling Jewelry can be bought from the Pokemon Center PC after reaching Environment Level 4. Just walk over to your PC after leveling up and check all the shop items. You can purchase the Sparkling Jewelry for 100 coins.
According to player reports, Sparkling Jewelry can appear as a shop item rather than being a recipe that you can always purchase from the PC. Once you obtain one, it can also be 3D printed.
How to Get Big Treasure Chest
The Big Treasure Chest can be obtained in two ways. The first way is to find it, and you can find the related Pokeball once you head south right from the center of the Bubbly Basin map. You will spot some sand blocks surrounded by two cones. Break the sand to find the Big Treasure Chest Pokeball.
The other way to get Big Treasure Chest is to complete the challenges at the Pokemon Center PC. This involves filling up your Pokedex. You will get the Big Treasure Chest recipe as a random reward. To craft it, you will need:
- 1x Lumber
- 1x Iron Ore
How to Get Lantern
After crafting or buying both items, you will also require 1x lantern. Luckily, you can purchase a lantern from the Rocky Ridges PC store after leveling the Environment Level to 6. If you haven’t reached that far, you can visit the cave in the middle of Rocky Ridges and explore it to get the lantern recipe. The cave entrance will be blocked by wire mesh, you need to use Cut to get past. Then, visit the workbench and craft the lantern using Iron Ingot ×1 and Glass ×1.
How to Summon Toxapex
Now that you are ready, all you need to do is arrange everything close together. Light the lantern and wait a while for Toxapex to appear. Luckily, Toxapex doesn’t have any preference to weather or time of day, so you can come back any time to find a Toxapex spawn inside the Treasure Chest. Speak to it to add it to your Pokedex.
