Armours have an important part to play in Beast of Reincarnation, particularly considering the fact that enemies keep getting tougher and tougher. The different sets of armours each provide various stats, resistances to elements, and also Spirit Stone slots. Some armours are easily accessible from the main area, but there are some which need to be found in strong boxes. In this guide, we’ve listed all 14 armour locations in Beast of Reincarnation.

There is a specific defence value, resistance to certain elements and spirit stone sockets provided by each armour in Beast of Reincarnation. The use of Spirit Stones will provide players with some passive stats that include enhanced attacking, increased vigour, increased HP restoration, and others.

It is also important to keep track of the Enemy Awareness value. It affects the ease of being spotted by enemies, making it much easier to explore and sneak around dangerous areas. During the progression of the game, it would be wise to change old armours for new ones.

Light Gambeson Location

Light Gambeson Armour is one of the first pieces of armour that Emma obtains in Beast of Reincarnation. This armour is provided to you automatically from the start of the game, so there is no need to look for it. Although it will protect you well initially, after a while, you will face tougher opponents. Therefore, you should get rid of it as soon as you can.

Chain Mail Location

The Chain Mail is the first set of armour upgrades that players will come across in Beast of Reincarnation. The location of the armour is in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone. The player needs to go to the Cliff-Facing Tower, which is located just beside the campsite. Inside the tower, there is a chest containing this set of armour. There are lots of enemies around here, but it is definitely worth picking this up as it provides good protection compared to Light Gambeson.

Thick Cuirass Location

Head over to the Tunnel Ruins: Interior camp. From here, you will be tasked to find your way towards the generator. Along the way, look out for a strongbox, which is located right after beating the Hulk Golem. The Thick Cuirass can be found inside this box.

Garb of Tranquillity

The Garb of Tranquility can be located at the eastern part of the Ancient Civilisation Zone. Head towards the den of Nushi. While doing so, you will notice a bear and a Golem engaging in a fight with one another. Continue moving to the right, and look for a big pipe that leads to a small cave. Enter the cave, and you will get the armour.

Insulating Mail

The Insulating Mail can be found at the Great Wall Terraces. All you have to do is go west from that location and look for a massive power plant. Then climb up to the top and look inside a small shack where the armour is waiting for you.

Floral Wraps Location

Floral Wraps can be found on the north side of the Great Wall Terraces. You can find a strongbox in front of a campfire located on the opposite side of the entrance to Nushi’s Lair in Chapter 3. Open the strongbox to collect the armour.

Leather Garb Location

The Leather Garb is located at the centre of the Pilgrim’s Zone. It is contained in a strongbox near the Campsite of the Cave Depths. In case you have not discovered the campsite yet, begin your journey from the Cave Entrance that is located east of the zone. Take the main path through the caves, pass the Cave Interior campsite, then take an elevator to reach the strongbox of the Leather Garb.

Scale Coat Location

Scale Coat armour can be obtained at the Matsukawa zone in Chapter 5 of the storyline. Simply move to the Ruins: Approach the area and locate the campsite close to the lake. The armour will be found within a chest, so make sure to open it.

Mirror Guard Location

You can obtain the Mirror Guard armour in the Matsukawa Zone. Proceed along the central route until you reach the big building that has a gigantic cylinder revolving in its centre. Head up to the first floor and then head towards the bridge that leads to the southwest to get to the Library Hall campsite.

After that, head into the library and stay near the left wall of it. This way you will get to a temple-like building that has an elite enemy standing guard in front of the strongbox. Kill him, open the strongbox and get the Mirror Guard armour.

Dance Attire Location

Dance Attire will be found right after the activation of Collapsed Pipes: Approach campsite. During your exploration in the cave, you will have to blow up quite a few explosive barrels to pave your way forward. Keep on moving ahead until you meet the Wandering Merchant, and then you will see a strongbox next to the merchant with Dance Attire inside it.

Amber Breastplate Location

The Amber Breastplate can be obtained early in the Giant Tree Zone in Chapter 7 of the main game. Ride the yellow gondola to reach the crates in the northern area and get on the crate. Open the chest to obtain the Amber Breastplate.

Silver Cuirass Location

The Silver Cuirass is located at the western part of the Great Tree Zone, slightly to the north of the Giant Tree: Feeding Ground campsite. The location of the item is marked by a platform constructed using tree branches and roots, which contains a strongbox with the Silver Cuirass inside.

Ornate Robe Location

The location of the Ornate Robe is in the Crater Zone. You must enter the giant round structure that is located in the north section of the area. Then walk on the main road until you get to the top of the structure. The control panel is at the top, and right next to it is the Ornate Robe.

God Tree Guard Location

The God Tree Guard armour can be found in The Capital Zone after you reach the end of the storyline. It is located at the Sewage Works: Ingress campsite, and there will be a strongbox next to it. You can take the God Tree Guard armour from the strongbox.
