If you have been playing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players have already collected lots of Pokemon to enrich their Pokedex collection, but there are more to collect until the last. Paradox Pokemon are newly introduced Pokemon, and players can catch them in both games. Roaring Moon is also a Paradox Pokemon and one of the most impressive Paradox Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet. This guide will help you know how you can find it.
Roaring Moon Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet- How to Get?
Paradox Pokemon is one of the Gen IX Pokemon, and players can catch more or less 15 in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. These are exclusive to each game. For example, players of Pokemon Scarlet can get Ancient Paradox Pokemon, while Pokemon Violet players get Future Paradox Pokemon.
Coming to the Roaring Moon, it is an Ancient Paradox Pokemon, exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, so Pokemon Violet players can’t access it. Roaring Moon is most probably the pre-historic version of Salamence and can only be found after completing the three storylines- Victory Road, Starfall Street, and Path of Legends.
While roaming around the Paldea Region, players must have seen the Great Crater of Paldea, which they can’t initially access. This area will unlock after the three storylines are completed, and all the Paradox Pokemon can be found there in Area Zero. So, naturally, Paradox Pokemon can also be found after the completion of the main story.
If you are looking for Roaring Moon, you must come to Area Zero. We have marked the location below-
Once here, you’ll find a gate in front of you. Go near it, and it will open. Next, you’ll find yourself inside a lab where there will be a green altar near. Go and stand on it. Select ‘Research Station No.3.’ As much as we know, Roaring Moon spawns only in the caves of Research Station 3.
Once in Research Station 3, leave the facility, and you’ll be in the grassy area outside. In front, you’ll see a big cave entrance. Ignore it and start moving toward the left side of the cave. Proceed until you see the area shown in the image below-
Once you reach the tree and find the area in the image, you’ll find a narrow lane leading toward a cave. Progress and enter the cave. Proceed through the cave and turn left towards the grass area. That’s where Roaring Moon Spawns. This is a rare Pokemon that doesn’t spawn plenty. So, you may not find one on your first chance. In that case, you may leave the cave and come again after a while or roam around the cave and wait for one to spawn.
That’s all you need to know about finding Roaring Moon in Pokemon Scarlet.
