Fortnite is one of the most popular battle royales worldwide, and with every new Chapter and Season, the popularity of Fortnite only increases. The main reason behind the ever-increasing popularity of Fortnite is that Epic Games never disappoint players in terms of content, weapons, or thrilling gameplay. However, the main source of weapons in Fortnite is the chests, and Chapter 4 Season 1 is no exception. This guide will help you know the location of Holo Chests in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1.
All Holo Chest Locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1- How to Get?
Chests are pretty common in Fortnite Chapters, and every chest provides players with weapons. That’s the primary role of chests. However, in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, besides the standard, Legendary and Oathbound Chests, players can also get Holo-Chests that give players Epic, Legendary, and sometimes Exotic weapons.
Holo chests are nothing new to Chapter 4. If you have played Chapter 3, Season 4, you have definitely seen the Holo Chests there as it was introduced first in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4, and due to its massive popularity, it has made its way to Chapter 4, Season 1. So, veteran players may not require the description of Holo Chests, but for the new players, let me tell you Holo Chests are the Holographic Chests showing the hologram of the weapons they contain. You can check the below image as a reference-
As you can see, each chest has a hologram of a weapon, and opening the particular chest will give you that weapon. The yellow holograms are for Legendary Weapons, the Blue is for Exotic weapons, and the purple holograms indicate the chest will give you the epic variant of that weapon. Showing hologram help players to open the chests according to their requirement, which is the main reason behind its popularity. When you open an Oathbound Chest or Legendary Chest, you don’t know which weapon you’ll get; but in the case of the Holo Chests, players can easily find out which weapon they will get from the chest.
Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 has a few Holo Chests throughout the map, though they are only located in a few locations. Generally, you will find them inside castles, outside of houses, etc., and players can encounter them randomly throughout their journey. The best way to locate the Holo Chests is to get a key. Once you get a key, all the Holo Chest Locations will be marked on your minimap with a lock icon. You can visit the nearest lock icon on the map to get Holo chests.
However, Holo chests never give common or uncommon weapons, and players must have a key to open Holo Chest. Keys can be found randomly as ground or floor loot or from chests. Except for Exotic weapons, other Holo Chests require one key to open. Exotic Holo Chests require two keys to open.
That’s all you need to know about where to find Holo Chests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Remember, you can’t break open Holo Chests; the only way to open a Holo Chest is to have a key.
