Overwatch 2 is the upcoming team-based multiplayer shooter game by Blizzard Entertainment. It will create a ‘shared multiplayer environment’ between Overwatch and Overwatch 2. Though the game’s exact release date is not yet confirmed, the game’s Multiplayer Beta has been released recently. Players are already excited to play the game, and they are exploring the beta version of the game to feel the thrill of the game.
Overwatch 2 has added some new features, and Push Game mode is one of them. This guide will help you know what it is and how to use Push game mode in Overwatch 2.
Push Game Mode in Overwatch 2 – What is it and How to Play?
Push game mode is a new addition to the Overwatch 2 and is available in two maps- Rome and Toronto. In this mode, two teams fight with each other to take control of TS-1, the Large Robot. The Robot remains in the middle and completely neutral when the game starts. After a few seconds, when it becomes activated, you need to place more players on it than your opponents. It is a game of two teams (each containing 5 players), 2 DPS, one tank, and 2 support.
Once the robot is under your control, it will proceed towards the opponent team’s side to push your team’s barrier further into their territory. The team that will push the robot closer to the opponents’ territory will win. You can track your winning through the points. If you are winning, your points will be highlighted as blue. If your opponent team is winning the match, their point will be highlighted as red.
Each side has its checkpoints. Always try to get to the checkpoints; otherwise, you’ll spawn at the initial spawn point if you die. But if you get the checkpoint, you’ll spawn near it. Spawn at the starting location, making it more challenging to get back to the robot, whereas if you spawn near the checkpoint, you can easily return to the robot. Try to have your possession stable on the robot; if the opponent team is higher in number and they push you out off the Objective, your chance of winning will be less.
