Before you start adding players from enemy teams, you need to meet one specific requirement. If you are playing any of the Battle Royale modes under Duos, Third Person Trios, and Quads, then you need to keep a squad spot empty for another player to join. If you wish to keep your team but still want to add other players, then playing in Unhinged mode can help you. You can add up to six players to your team under Unhinged Trios, even if your squad is full.
With that said, let’s see how to invite enemy players to join.
- Open the Ping Wheel by pressing the Alt key/ Up on D-Pad
- On the right side of the wheel, you will find two options – Invite or Join
- Use the right joystick/mouse to select the option
In case you have sent out an invite, you can accept invitations whenever a player message pops up. To accept an invite, bring up the Ping wheel again and select either the accept or decline option. You can also use the Proximity chat feature to talk to players from enemy teams if needed.
Using the Assimilation feature is a great way to jump ship if things are not working out with your team, or if you have an eye on another player from the enemy team and wish to coax them into joining you.
