After you learn about his shady business, you have a few choices to make. Below are all the choices and consequences for each.
- Negotiate – You will accept the cash bonus from Ron, but you need to reach some common ground with him first. He will agree that you can tell the marshal everything, but the case should be closed indefinitely after that. All details of the arrangement will be removed
- Force Ron to turn himself in – If you try to force him to confess to the marshal directly, Ron will tell you that you will risk putting all the employees out of work. You can now choose whether you wish to take a bribe and keep shut about the whole thing, spare him, or attack him. If you force him to come clean some more, you will get a final choice of sparing him or starting a fight. If you choose to spare him for the sake of the employees, your companion will like that, but you will lose the details of the arrangement.
- Take the bribe – You can take the bribe and forget about the whole ordeal. The bribe amount will be lesser, but you can close the case and report to the Marshal about your findings. You will lose the details of the arrangement in the process.
- Attack him – You can outright attack him and keep the details of the arrangement. The only downside is that the employees will be a bit confused about what to do next without their employer. After finding a solution for them, talk to the Marshal to close the case.
