To unlock Manufactories, you need to reach Kingpin I and beyond. Once you get to this point, you can unlock world events like the Hostile Takeover or Legendary Heists. You can pick up whichever world event from these two that you would like to compete in. Of course, you need to prepare yourself with the highest level ship and ship upgrades available. You can also take a friend or two with you so all of you are guaranteed a factory after the event is over
