Serpentine Perk Updates in COD Warzone
Following the release of Warzone Season 4, the Serpentine Perk nerf will include a tweak to its total damage reduction. As of this writing, the overall decrease is 20%, but it will drop to 15% following the next update, which includes some adjusting. That may be sufficient for new weapons to enter the meta.
The above mentioned bonus was implemented much before Warzone Season 4. It was included in the first season update for Call of Duty: Vanguard, which experimented with new perk possibilities that would shake up loadouts. This perk would allow players to lower their incoming damage when sprinting.
The Serpentine perk is universally hated among players since it allows many players who are being shot at to sprint to safety. It is quite irritating for players to see a snake emblem appear over their opponent’s head as they dash away while under fire from their opponents.
Some Call of Duty Warzone players sees this perk as the dumbest in the game since it fosters a basic perk while penalizing skilled players by making the game more difficult. The nerf is severe, and it’s bad news for its users because they’ll have even less margin for error when abandoning bad gunfights.
Many players will be relieved that the nerf has been announced since it implies that their opponents’ chances of escaping from deadly confrontations have been greatly reduced.
