Besides solving puzzles and defeating bosses, Remnant 2 tests you at making decisions. One of the decisions you need to make is whether to kill Faelin or Faerin. Remnant 2 – Should You Kill Faelin or Faerin
After finding and inserting Faelin and Faerin Mural Pieces into the Palace Courtyard’s display, you will gain access to the Beatific and Malefic Galleries. Behind each of the galleries you will see Faelin and Faerin. They will each ask you for a favor, to kill the other imposter. Here we will see what choice you should make in Remnant 2.

You can find Faelin behind the Light Beatific Gallery and Faerin inside the Dark Malefic Gallery. You can switch between each one by pulling the lever in the middle of the Palace Courtyard, after playing the mural pieces. If the light section points towards the door, you will enter the Beatific Gallery. If it is the opposite, you will enter the Malefic Gallery. You can talk to each boss before fighting.
In order to decide who to choose, it all boils down to the rewards.
Kill Faerin in the Malefic Gallery
If you defeat Faerin, you will receive the Godsplitter melee weapon, as well as Faelin’s Sigil. The Sigil ring generates 10% additional mod power per melee damage done. Speak to Faelin after killing Faerin to get the ring
Kill Faelian in Beatific Gallery
Killing Faelian will reward you with the Deceit long gun ranged weapon and Faerin’s Sigil. The ring will provide 10% additional mod power for each critical and weak spot hit. Speak to Faerin after slaying Faelian to get the ring
Whichever gift you get, you need to craft the weapon using the materials you receive from the bodies (Imposter’s Heart/ Melded Hilt). Talk to Ava McCabe in Ward 13 and craft the weapon using scraps and Luminite Crystals.
