Genshin Impact has collaborated with popular fast food joints like KFC and Pizza Hut but these were all only in the region of China. This latest collaboration between Genshin Impact and Domino’s thus comes as a pleasant surprise as it will span Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Genshin Impact is branching out of China for its collabs and considering how popular the game is, it’s expected and even welcome. Read on below to find out more details.
Genshin Impact x Domino’s Collab Details
The collab goes live in Malaysia and Singapore on the 14th of September, 2022. In Thailand, it goes live on the 21st of September, 2022. It officially ends on the 26th of October, 2022 in all three of the above regions.
Activities and Perks
During this period fans will be able to order ‘Emergency Food Combos’ from Domino’s which will come bearing exclusive merch like Genshin Impact x Domino’s pizza bag, Genshin Impact postcards and even tinplate button badges. These combos will contain pizza, bread and drinks as far as we know. There will also be various events to participate in- including offline events where players can win unique prizes.
For players that prefer dining in instead of takeouts and deliveries, selected Domino’s Pizza joints in these regions will also feature official Genshin Impact x Domino’s decorations that are sure to bring a smile to the players’ faces. You can find the list of these joints on the official HoYoverse event page for “Paimon’s Gastronomical Journey” here.
Prices
There are two combo offers and their prices are listed below:
- Combo A (Feeds 1-2): S$16.90 in Singapore and RM29.95 in Malaysia.
- Combo B (Feeds 3-4): S$36 in Singapore and RM59.95 in Malaysia.
Characters
The characters featured in this collab are Amber, the Traveler, Paimon and Jean. We’re glad to finally see Jean appear in one of these collabs as Pizza is actually her Special Dish in the game.
Amber the outrider is at this point the face of all Genshin Impact collabs and it fits very much in theme to her character that goes out of her way to help Travelers, make friends and scout the area for anyone that needs her help.
The ‘Emergency Food Combos’ is a reference to Paimon who the Traveler often jokingly refers to as “emergency food”. Players need not worry though as no Paimons were harmed during this collab and the Traveler can vouch for that.
More details about the collab will be available from the official social media accounts of Domino’s Pizza Singapore and Malaysia, as well as UniPin Malaysia. We can expect more details to drop before the event goes live on the 14th of September which means very soon.
With HoYoverse bringing HoYofest to regions of Southeast Asia and collaborating with so many companies including the recent bubble tea collaboration with a local brand, fans can see a positive future for more collabs coming to their own regions too. Genshin Impact is branching out to international markets for more marketing and business and we love to see it.
