The Nessus Case File Collector Quest in Destiny 2 involves locating and scanning six Case Files that are located in various areas of Nessus. However, Case Files are accessible during the time that a Distortion occurs within Nessus. Red-colored icons indicate when Nessus is under a Distortion on the map of the destination area. Nessus Case File Locations
For collecting the Case Files of Nessus, the first thing that needs to be done is to ensure that there is a Distortion occurring on the planet of Nessus. The presence of Distortion can be confirmed by observing the destination map; if there are any red dots found on Nessus, then the Distortion is happening.
Case File 1 – Watcher’s Grave
Start your adventure from Watcher’s Grave and travel to the former spot of Xûr located on the huge tree. Get to that area and grab the first Case File.
Case File 2 – Exodus Black
Travel to the location of Exodus Black using fast travel. Inside Failsafe’s old chamber, move to the left side where you will find the second Case File.
Case File 3 – Artifact’s Edge
Then fast-travel to the location of Artefact’s Edge. Starting from the landing area, move towards the right and climb into the broken ship, where you will locate the third Case File.
Case File 4 – The Tangle
Keep moving around until you find the area known as The Tangle. Find the big tree, which has been broken up into several pieces. Move under the log bridge attached to the tree; there lies the fourth case file.
Case File 5 – Well of Flame
Use fast travel and go to The Cistern. Move towards the Well of Flame, which is the tower seen in the Vex environment. Fly using your Sparrow through the area and grab the fifth case file near the tower.
Case File 6 – Glade of Echoes
The last case file can be obtained after returning to Exodus Black via fast travel. Move to the left from the place you land. Move through the area to find yourself near the Glade of Echoes, and grab the last case file. Once you’ve gathered all six Case Files, the Nessus Case File Collector objective will be complete.
