Finding Eggie is an important task during the Pioneers quest in Genshin Impact but you’ll need to solve three Ancient Moon Pearl Power Station puzzles. In this guide, we have covered everything you’ll need to know for solving the puzzles and finding Eggie in the most efficient way possible.
Locate Eggie by Solving the Three Puzzles
Your task will be to reactivate the three puzzles in the underground complex during the Pioneers mission and locate Eggie. All the power stations can be solved in a similar manner, but different rooms have completely distinct ways of progress. In the course of game play, you will be using devices like Launchers and Stasis Modules to manipulate the Ancient Moon Pearls so they can be put into the Power Station.
First Power Station
To start, enter the underground ruin at the entrance located in the northeastern part of The Eye of Ibni-Belum. Upon entering the first chamber, use the main Terminal to power up the underground structure.
Then, use the adjacent control machine to lift the barrier holding the Ancient Moon Pearls. Now that there’s no barrier, push one of the Pearls toward the inactive Power Plant. Once it enters the socket, it will lock and power up the entire underground facility.
Go through the newly opened doorway and continue down the staircase until you arrive at the second puzzle area.
Second Power Station
The second power station is a bit more complicated than the first one as you must fill more than one socket in order to make the power station function again. Although one of the Ancient Moon Pearls can be easily accessed, the second one must be taken from the lower level using a launcher.
Make sure to take the pearl that is on the upper platform and to put it in one of the empty sockets. To get the second pearl, go down and place the pearl that you find there into the launcher that is closest to you. Launch the device and the pearl will be sent back to the upper platform for you to use it. It is also possible to use the launcher to propel your character upward.
Once the second Pearl reaches the top, push it into the remaining socket. After both slots are occupied, activate the central switch to restore the station and open the passage leading to the final puzzle.
Third Power Station
Proceed down the main path to the final chamber. You may ignore all side platforms, provided you are keen on completing the mission. One room contains a Large Geo Slime that emerges from the chest when defeated.
This chamber is also where you will encounter the Stasis Module, which retrieves Ancient Moon Pearls from the surrounding area continuously. Any pearls being held by the machine are not movable until the module is deactivated for a while.
Start by absorbing the Archaeolune Energy from the Stasis Module. Doing this will switch off the module and cause the Pearl that was trapped inside to drop down. Once the pearl has been released, place it on vacant Power Station sockets.
The second socket is blocked by the Precursor’s Secret Source Matrix of Overseer Network. Make sure to fight this enemy before carrying on. Once the guardian of the Power Station has been killed, check the area for another Ancient Moon Pearl that is not being transported at the moment.
Pearls in transit through the Stasis Module cannot be pushed, so you should take one that is already on the ground and place it in the final socket. With the station fully restored, the final door unlocks. Climb the staircase beyond it to reach Eggie and continue the Pioneers quest.
