The Mush-Tehil boss is one of the recently introduced Local Legends bosses in the 6.8 update for Genshin Impact. This difficult boss comes with three Valiant Chronicle requirements that give you Primogems and other useful items. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock the boss, where to find it, the easiest way to complete all three achievements, the best team to use, and every reward you can get.
How to Find the Moosh-Tehir

However, before you can fight against Mush-Tehil, you need to complete the When We Look Up at the Moon World Quest up to Act 2. This quest starts in Dunana’s Depths located in the Nod-Krai territory and will bring you to a new world known as Frost Moon.
You have to visit the Teleport Waypoint located in the northwest part of Ungien’s Circle. From there, you should walk along the path and keep going forward. There, you will see a broken wall, but do not stop; just continue moving further. Soon, you will be in a large arena that contains a mechanism in its centre. By interacting with it, you will get into a fight with two damaged Lunar Automatons, and you will receive a chest after the victory.

Interact with the mechanism for the second time and start the second challenge. In this case, you will have to defeat two functional Lunar Automatons and get a chest after doing it. The third interaction with the mechanism will lead you to Mush-Tehir.
All 3 Local Legend “Moosh-Tehir” Achievements

The following are the three tasks that must be completed for this Local Legend. All of them can be completed in one battle or across several battles; however, remember that you need to wait until the boss respawns if you fail in your attempt.
- Defeat the local legend Mush-Tehil.
- Once Mush-Tehil starts extending its first control field, destroy the four Surveillance Devices located around the arena. This will cause the boss to go into a stunned condition.
- Defeat the boss in the stunned condition to finish the challenge.
How to Beat the Moosh-Tehil

Shortly after the fight starts, Mush-Tehil will create a huge control field and will call four flying Surveillance Devices. Get rid of all four devices in time, and the control field will vanish, putting Mush-Tehil in a knocked-out state. But be careful: if you waste too much time dealing with the devices, you’ll miss the chance to stun the boss.
Best Strategy

The biggest challenge is attacking the hovering Surveillance Devices because of their hovering position in the air; most melee characters will find it difficult to attack them. Any character who can launch attacks with great vertical range or any character with the ability to shoot works great.
The Surveillance Devices are shielded by Hydro barriers, which can be countered by Dendro and Cryo damage types. In this battle, it is advisable to use either a Stellar-Conduct or a Super-Conduct team. Therefore, take along your best characters that can enable these reactions. The team that you select should be able to reliably trigger Stellar-Conduct or Super-Conduct, as these reactions will help you clear the fight much more easily.
Once Mush-Tehil is down due to the destruction of all four Surveillance Devices, it will remain stunned for 10-15 seconds, during which it will not be able to fight back. This gives you a chance to hit it as many times as you want. Even if it is not possible to kill it in one stun, you can weaken it initially and then kill it the second time. However, if your team has sufficient damage, you can kill it in the first stun itself.
Best Team
It is very easy to have ranged characters in this battle, such as Sandrone or Chasca, because they will be able to easily break the Surveillance Devices. Characters like Ineffa and Escoffier are also great choices due to their ability to attack off the field and hit the surveillance devices automatically. Nahida is among the best characters to have in this battle because of her ability to target all four devices. Avoid Hydro characters at all cost.
Moosh-Tehil Rewards
After completing the boss fight with Mush-Tehil, go to Katheryne at any Adventurer’s Guild, then use your Valiant Chronicle Handbook to collect all the rewards.
You can get 20 Primogems and 3 pieces of Unblemished Lunar Iron from defeating Mush-Tehil for the very first time. If you are able to paralyse the boss using the destruction of all four Surveillance Devices during the first Suppression Field, you will get 20 more Primogems and 25,000 Mora. Moreover, if you can defeat the boss when it is already paralysed, you will get 20 more Primogems and 3 Guide to Conflict books as a reward.
