Now that the latest installment of NBA 2K is here, there are some special events you can participate in and get some goodies. Currently you can partake in #2KDay, where if you wear the 2K Day Attire, you can earn twice the XP. This event runs for a limited time, so you need to get yourself to the in-game store and get the required clothes to start earning XP. To purchase the right clothes for the #2KDay event, you need to get to a store called Swags. If you spawn at the Rivals Plaza Station, you have to travel south towards the beach. You can find Swags on the east side, opposite the Rec, and we have marked the location on the map below.
Once you find the store, walk up to the table and interact with it to get the clothing menu. The first item you see is the 2K Day merch. Select it, and you will get a list of outfits you can purchase for the event. Each outfit type will cost varying amounts of VC, so explore the range and pick out what you like.
Now all that is left is to wear your new outfit and start collecting double the XP. To wear your outfit, go to the main menu and select the MyPlayer tab. Click on Appearance and go to My City. You will find one of the clothing tiles will have a red blinking dot, which indicates that there is a new outfit added to that section. Select it, then find the outfit that you recently purchased. Equip it on your character and now you can start earning XP.
