Genshin Impact has a plethora of fun characters with interesting kits and features and their value extends beyond the meta. Their unique abilities make them attractive enough to the point that even if they aren’t a very good unit, players still use them for their kit to have fun and just enjoy the game. Even among these characters, Nahida’s passive is unlike any other in the game and those who get her in their pulls will have a very easy time farming for materials going forward.
Special Abilities and How Nahida Stands Out in Genshin Impact 3.2
Anemo and Electro characters are the first that usually come to mind in this regard. Keqing’s E skill allows players to teleport a limited distance which can come in very handy during exploration. Speaking of exploration, one can’t ignore Anemo characters like Kazuha and Venti who both uplift the players to difficult places and situations. Xiao may be one of the best DPS in the game but many still enjoy his dash to aerially cover small distances. And while Sayu may not be part of the meta, many still use her to roll through Teyvat.
Then we have Jean’s E skill that allows players to yeet cats, dogs and even enemies while dealing tons of damage. Beidou was the first character who had a parry feature and allowed players to time and counter their block to wipe out entire enemy camps. Today, of course, Yun Jin and recently even Candace have also joined the full-counter gang but Beidou will still remain our preferred character for this mechanic. There is also Yelan, Ayaka and Mona who can all be used for exploration in the overworld.
Nahida still doesn’t fit into any of the other groups and stands out as being the only character who will help players farm harvestable materials efficiently. Her passive On All Things Meditated allows players to use the Hold version of her E- All Schemes to Know to collect fruits and flowers from the overworld.
Players can use the Hold version of her E to enter the aiming mode which if they point at any fruits and flowers will be automatically collected from a distance without the player needing to reach for them. A maximum of 4 units can be collected in this way per skill use.
There are of course many exceptions and limitations. For example, Dandelion Seeds will still require you to hit it with Anemo. And materials like wood, ores, crystal cores and animals are still off the table. The following are all the items that are leaked to be collectable from her Skill as of now in the Beta:
One leaker also claims that Onikabuto beetles are also included in this list even though Scarabs aren’t even though they are both beetles. Some strange observations would be that even though egg, starconch, carrots and radishes and even mushrooms are part of this list- wheat, curiously isn’t. Changes are still being made so maybe we can expect a few more items to be added and for that, we’ll keep our fingers crossed.
With her on your team, players who have been wanting to ascend their characters from 80 to 90 but were dreading the farming aspect can now set out and easily cover their farming routes without much hassle or time consumption. The only character who resembles Nahida’s passive is Sayu who doesn’t startle Crystalflies and certain other small creatures that are difficult to farm. Players can now have a dedicated farming team with Nahida, Sayu, Venti/Kazuha (for the Movement SPD increase with Anemo Resonance) and Kaeya/Razor (for their passive of reducing Sprinting Stamina consumption).
