Genshin Impact will make some nifty optimizations and changes in Version 3.0 that will polish the gameplay experience of Sumeru and help players experience more of the land throughout their adventures. One of these changes is also a significant artifact-related change that many players will welcome. Read on to find out.
Small Optimisations and Changes in Version 3.0 of Genshin Impact
Due to the introduction of Dendro and the geography of Sumeru, the following changes and optimizations are scheduled to arrive in the upcoming Version 3.0 of Genshin Impact.
- Adds “Dendro DMG bonus” as a new primary attribute of the Goblet of Eonothem artifact piece. This was expected since we already have individual “DMG bonus” type pieces for each of the other elements. Adding this new one won’t reduce the drop rates of the other elemental DMG bonus artifact pieces but only primary attribute artifact pieces like- ATK%, HP%, and DEF% so players can rest easy.
- Characters will alternate sprints like Mona, Ayaka, Sayu, Yelan, and so on are getting optimizations to their kit to make traveling and especially sprinting easier in Sumerian geography. This will also make combat easier and more dynamic.
- Nagadus Emerald Sliver, which is the Dendro elemental shards, are going to be added to “Daily Commission” Rewards.
- Dendro Character Ascension Materials will also be available for synthesis and conversion starting from Version 3.0. This includes synthesis from the Parametric Transformer and using Dust of Azoth in the Crafting Table.
- The patch notes also confirm the addition of the 10 new artifact strongboxes, which essentially include all the artifact sets from Mondstadt and Liyue regions.
- Optimizes the animation and display of the Burning reaction and reduces elemental effects on targets affected by Burning
- Optimizes the aiming and auto-aiming mechanics.
- And finally, it optimizes the pull effect of Anemo skills on the vertical scale by increasing it to double the size of the horizontal scale.
We’re still not sure how some of these are going to play out so we will have to wait for the update’s release to find out if any changes is noticeable- and whether they are useful or redundant in effect. While these may not be the final patch notes, players can still expect most of them to be implemented- especially those that have something to do with the Dendro element.
