Turrets and landmines can be spotted using the Terminal Monitor or scanning the area manually. If someone is using the Terminal Monitor in the ship, they can notice the Turrets icon as red icon with a red triangle that moves from side to side. If you check above the turret, there is a green or red box with a code on it. To disable the Turret or landmine, they need to read the code and input it into the terminal command to disable it. The code will usually have one letter and one number.  You can switch the view to scan other parts of the area by typing in View Monitor in the Terminal Command and then input the command Switch. That way you can find all turrets and landmines and deactivate them.

The only catch here is that turrets and landmines can stay inactive for about 2 seconds, so the rest of the team on the floor should make a run for it. To deactivate doors, the same process applies, but after unlocking the door it stays unlocked for the whole run. Players on the floor can find the door code when they face the door and relay it to the player manning the terminal on the ship. That way it can be unlocked and they can gain access further into the area.
