It’s quite easy to get copper in Lego Fortnite, as all you have to do is explore the lava caves in the Desert Biome. You can spot lava caves by checking out the rock formations found randomly across the terrain. This will lead you to the entrance of the lava caves. But before you embark on your adventure, it is best to own a rare tier Pickaxe and some heat resistance consumables. Once you are prepared, head inside the cave to find copper. They can be found on the walls of the cave as reddish brown rocks. Mine them with the pickaxe to gather copper.
You can now take it back to the metal smelter to get copper bars. To get copper bars, you need 1x copper and 2x brightcore, and brightcore can also be found inside the lava cave. Copper bars are used in crafting the oven, grapplers, mailboxes, and larger storage chests.
