Militia are different from Mercenaries, so the way you recruit and train them also varies. Here we will see how to hire and train Militia in Jagged Alliance 3.

Hiring Militia will help protect any location you have overtaken. Posting them in villages and borders will keep enemies at bay. To recruit Militia, follow the steps below.

  • Head over to the World Map
  • Pick your settlement
  • At the bottom of the screen, you will find the Operations tab
  • Click on Operations, then click on Militia Training
  • This is the last option on the top row
  • After that, click on the + under Trainer section
  • Pick your Militia. Ensure that the Militia you pick has high Leadership and Loyalty
  • If you have the required amount of money, you can hire them by clicking Confirm

If you wish to train future Militia, the process is the same as above. When you add the existing Militia, you will see an additional recruit under the In Training section. Once they are done training, they will join you in securing your settlement.
