On 31st October, the ModernWarzone Twitter page has shared a post saying that SPR-208 is the most powerful sniper, pistol, and marksman rifle all at once, and players don’t need any attachment to play with this Marksman Rifle. This tweet also said that aim assists with Iron Sight on SPR-208 could track running players from 50 meters away.
Surprisingly, this tweet got lots of retweets, and most players agree with this statement. Some of them shared their experience of using SPR-208 in Modern Warfare 2 or encountering it. Almost everyone agreed to one point that it is the strongest weapon in mid-range combat. One proper shot at the upper chest portion of the enemy is enough to take them down.
However, since this thing started rotating on Twitter, many players have expressed their disagreement and worries. Modern Warfare 2 has many small maps, and if players start using SPR-208 in every map, that will be an unfair game. In maps like Ground Wars or Invasion, it is still okay to play with this gun as they are massive maps, but when it comes to small maps, it’ll be hard to play if everyone starts using this Marksman Rifle.
