Holo Chests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4- Locations and Unlocking Process Explained
In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, players will get many chests, which contain several weapons and equipment. Regular Chests and Supply Boxes are common that players find in every Season, but the developers have introduced the Chrome Chests in Chapter 3, Season 4 to match the Season’s theme. Until the new update comes, these are the three types of chests players can find in the game, but now there is another type of chest added: the Holo-Chests.
These Holo-Chests show the Hologram of a Legendary or Epic rarity weapon, and opening them will give the players the Legendary or Epic weapon. Players can find three types of Holo-Chests in the game: Legendary, Epic, and Exotic. While the Legendary and Epic Holo-Chests can be unlocked using one Key, Exotic Holo Chests require two keys.
Keys can be found randomly on the map. You can find them as ground loot, getting them from chests, or killing an enemy. Holo-Chests have no particular locations. Instead, players can find them at random locations, sometimes outside the garages, sometimes outside the houses. Another positive side is if you get Exotic weapons from Holo-Chests, you don’t need to spend money to get them from the NPCs. Also, before unlocking a Holo-Chests, players can understand exactly which weapon they are going to get by seeing the Hologram outside.
That’s all you need to know about opening Holo-chests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. Remember, except for opening the chests with keys, there is no other way to open Holo-Chests. You can’t break these chests to get the weapon.
