You can unlock the .50 GS pistol by reaching player rank 13. You can level up your player rank by participating in matches and using the Double XP Token. Once you unlock the .50 GS, you need to level up its max weapon rank as well. After that, you can equip camos from the camo tab in the Gunsmith. - Leopard Base Camo: Get 15 Kills while Mounted with the .50 GS
- 8 Bit Static Base Camo: Get 40 Kills with the Akimbo Attachment equipped on the .50 GS
- Gold Camo: Get 3 Kills without dying 5 times with the .50 GS
The best modes you should be playing are Hard Point and Domination since they are objective based and you can easily spot enemy players. But if you want a larger player base then you can even try Ground War or Invasion. For maps, it is best to go for closed or small maps like Farm 18 or Embassy, as the narrow alleys and small spaces are enough to trap and kill enemies. You should also take into consideration the .50 GS loadout, especially for the mounted kills and Akimbo Attachment kills.
For your setup, it is best to equip the Riot Shield as your primary along with the .50 GS, but you won’t need it for long, especially if the Akimbo Attachment is equipped. When it comes to perk packages, you can go for the Assault or Hunter packages, or you can custom equip perks like Double Time, Fast Hands, Scavenger, and Quick Fix.
