To unlock Akimbo attachments, you need to level up the respective gun to a certain level. Below are all the guns and at what level you have to rank them up to unlock the Akimbo attachment.
- P890 Akimbo Attachment – Reach weapon rank 26.
- .50 GS Akimbo Attachment – Reach weapon rank 17
- Basilisk Akimbo Attachment – Reach weapon rank 28
- X12 / X13 Akimbo Attachment – Reach weapon rank 19
Akimbo Attachments are popularly called Dual Wields, as they let the players have two of the same gun. This is a rear attachment that can be placed on a loadout when you visit the weapons tab in the gunsmith. You also have to change the ammo type while using the Akimbo, like the case for the Basilisk. For the Basilisk Akimbo build, you need to switch to the .500 Snakeshot to make the most of the weapon. But the best gun to use the Akimbo on is the X12/X13. With the right loadout, this gun is unstoppable in a match.
While it is fun to have two of the same gun, there is a small price to pay. You will lose out on accuracy when fighting at long range, so using the Akimbo is only good for close-range fights.
