Elden Ring was one of the most awaited games of 2022. Since its release in February, players are still playing the game and trying to explore every single feature. Tracking the FPS of a game in real-time is the most interesting feature of the PC games and no other platform, except for PC, provides these many opportunities to the players. Though Elden Ring usually doesn’t show the FPS count over 60, there are a few options available to track your FPS count all the time.
This guide will help you know how you can see your FPS counter in Elden Ring.
FPS Counter in Elden Ring- How to show it every time?
FromSoftware’s one of the biggest projects, Elden Ring, was released a few months back, but its fanbase is increasing day by day. Its strengths include high-quality graphics, co-op mode, fights on horseback, powerful and thrilling enemies, etc. Showing FPS is a great feature in PC games that almost every player love to have on their screens, as we have mentioned, but Elden Ring locks at 60 FPS. If you are someone who wants to see your FPS every time, follow the below methods:
Use GeForce Experience
If you are using an Nvidia Graphics Card, you have the opportunity to use GeForce Experience to show FPS-
Launch GeForce Experience> you’ll see your profile in the top right corner> Click on it and then click on your ‘Account’> go to the ‘General’ menu> In-Game Overlay> Click on Settings> Go to HUD Layout> choose Performance, FPS and Position> once done, you can now see your FPS Counter every time.
Using Steam
Alternatively, if you feel the above process is difficult, you can do it using Steam-
Steam> Settings> In-game> In-game FPS Counter> choose your preferred Position.
You can also enable the ‘High contrast color option’ that will show you the FPS counter in a bright green color.
- Except for these two ways, players can use third-party software like MSI Afterburner FPS Counter to display FPS. It is free software; you can install it by visiting its website (link given above), and it works on every card.
