If you are having second thoughts about using up all your points on spells that you don’t need anymore, you can always respec and reassign these points to areas where you need. To start the respec process, you need to place an Altar of Recollection in your base. This is a new structure added to version 1.0, which was previously called the Altar of Blood. You can unlock the blueprint as you work through the main story quests, and you can unlock it quite early in the game. To craft the Altar of Recollection, you need to gather 180x Stone and 10x Blood Essence.

Once you have the necessary materials, craft the Altar of Recollection and place it in your base. Interact with it and pick the skill school that you want to respec. You will find a button with Reset School written on it. Click on it to collect all your skill points and reuse it on your preferred skills. You cannot use these points on another skill school, and these points will be used only in the school where you did the reset. This process is completely free and you can perform it as many times as you want
