Genshin Impact introduces several events every two weeks for the players to get bonus rewards if they complete them. Some of these are available only if you’re above a specific Adventure Rank Level, or if you have progressed past a certain point in the main story mission. These missions have different rules and party setups, and most important of all, they’re fun to do, so make sure not to skip them if they’re available to you.
Genshin Impact: Hyakunin Ikki Event Guide
For the Hyakunin Ikki event, you will need to pick the most powerful characters you own, to make six teams of two characters each which will fight against a few rounds. You will receive points for each wave, and you must kill as many creatures as you can. You will get rewards based on the number of points you have, making this a point-based reward system. So, it is very important to pick your characters well.

You can access the event by going to your Events tab in the main game screen, and clicking through each one accessible to you. When you select the Hyakunin Ikki event, you will be prompted to select between the trial characters as well as your own characters. The trial characters might be more powerful than your current ones, but it’s a good idea to figure out the best ways to use them first, in case you haven’t played them before. The trial characters for this event are Ayaka, Yoimiya, Kazuha, Arataki Itto, Xiangling, and Razor.
Once you’ve selected the teams, you will be asked to configure their skills. These are buffs that you can apply to one of your parties to give them a slight edge over the others. After selecting the one most suitable for your team, progress forward to the event and begin fighting the waves of enemies. Cycle through your team as you beat them, and try to get as close to 2000 points as you can—as this is the point of the tier for the highest rewards.
You will get a new challenge every day for this event, and the trial characters will keep changing. This is a great way to test out all the characters that Genshin Impact has to offer, and earn rewards doing it.
