Fortnite’s latest and most anticipated Chapter 3 of Season 4, Paradise, has finally arrived. Players can turn into living, breathing superheroes with all-new materials when they come in contact with this mysterious resource. And what is even more exciting than becoming fireproof or faster? This season continued the jubilant mood from June when Paradise was released after a live event where people battled inside mechanical suits.
The release of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 has brought some new changes, one of which is the introduction of vaults. In the past, opening a vault was as easy as gathering a few friends and standing in front of the vault so that you could be scanned. Now, however, there’s a bit more to it. You have to collect keys to unlock each vault, which is hard to find and difficult to get. Despite the increased difficulty, it will be worth it in the end, as vaults are now stacked with much better loot.

How to Open Vaults?
In the earlier seasons of Fortnite, opening vaults was quite complex, especially when playing solo mode. However, with the release of Chapter 3 Season 4, Epic Games has changed this system slightly by making it so that players now need keys to open vaults.
The number of keys you will need to find correlates directly to the number of keyholes shown on your map’s vault symbols. If there is only one hole, you need one key. If there are two, then you will need two keys. It’s as simple as that.
Basic loot can be found in Low-Security Vaults, while high-security vaults allow you to win a rare item. Following are the keys required for different types of vaults:
- Low-Security Vaults require one Key to be opened.
- High-Security Vaults need two Keys.
