This is a very useful feature in the game that everyone should make use of when needed. In fact, there are two ways to mute other players in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta. As a lot of different players across platforms can play the game, it’s a great idea by the devs to include muting as a feature.

Change your Voice Settings

You can do this before entering a match, and it is the easiest of these methods. You will just need to open the Audio Settings tab in Settings, which you can access in the main menu. Check the Voice Chat option, where you will be able to mute as you want.

Here are the options that are presented to you in the settings:

  • Voice Chat On
  • Voice Chat Off
  • Mute everyone except the party
  • Mute everyone except friends

You will be able to select the option you want based on your requirements and play the game freely.

Access Player List

If you’re already in a match, you will be able to use the Mute All button to mute everyone in the game. This can be done if you just want to mute for a single game as a temporary measure. Of course, if you want to opt for a more permanent option, you can go for the first method.
