Underpass Fault is one of the missions in Control Resonant and takes the player to a mysterious zone with orange shadows, recollections, and projected images. In this mission, players have to follow the shadows, align the projected people with their corresponding places, and use Shift and Reach Point powers to navigate this mysterious area. This guide tells you how to enter the Fault, find Jesse, reunite the young Jesse and Dylan, and complete the ritual.
The Underpass Fault
The Underpass Fault is the third primary mission within the Quest for Jesse in Control Resonant. The Underpass Fault quest starts once you have entered the Underpass and checked out the island that contains orange pipes located west of the zone.
This mission must be completed before moving on to the mission known as The House in Distress. The reason is that the primary mission will make you complete all Fault Rituals before completing your objective. Jump to get through the gaps till you find the TV.
Find Jesse and Talk to Her
Follow the path and keep pursuing the orange shadows. At a certain stage, when you find yourself at the platform with multiple objects, examine the shadows at your right, at your left, and then at your middle.
Thereafter, proceed towards the other platform and continue pursuing the orange shadow. Eventually, you will arrive at another dead end. Examine the wall in front of you and wait until the memory ends. Once it is finished, jump through the wall to advance.
Keep going further on the path by examining the lights on the walls. At the stage where you see two kids, do not immediately jump towards the shadows of these kids. Follow the path that leads you from the left instead. Interact with the wall and wait until the memory finishes. Thereafter, follow the path. Now the objective remains the same. Find people’s shadows in the form of lights on the walls and direct them to their corresponding shadows.
Reunite Young Dylan and Jesse
Keep going until you get to the first area. Take the right path and lead Dylan’s shadow to the dead end and use the Reach Point to climb back up. Once at the top, jump to the upper platform and lead Dylan’s shadow to the middle.
Keep following the path until you get to Jesse’s shadow. Jump down to the bottom right and lead Jesse’s shadow to the dead end, which is on the path that is above you. Use the Shift ability to get to the wall on the left and walk across to lead Jesse’s shadow to the middle. Once the floor disappears, just keep going ahead to reach Jesse.
Help Jesse Complete the Ritual
Interact with the wall in front of you, then jump through the hole that exists in it. Make your way along the path until you reach its end, and then interact with the television. Finally, interact with Jesse to conclude the ritual for the Underpass Fault mission in Control Resonant.
