Understanding the Puzzle
To retrieve the Necrospike, you must solve a minor puzzle in the room. The arrangement of items and puzzle pieces may differ from one game to another but the concept of the puzzles stays same.
As you enter the room, your primary task is to count and pair numbers with letters in order to make the connections for your code. The code follows this progression: one is A; two is B; three is C; four is E; five is D. It might feel a bit off, but that’s the mapping the puzzle uses.
Once you locate the needed code for your puzzle, look for something labelled with a radioactive sign. These will direct you to the basic letter you are focusing on. With this information, you will have to determine which jars you will use for the puzzle solution.
Finding and Placing the Jars
For example, four can end up corresponding to D and five to E, but this can vary slightly in your version. Once you’ve figured it out, start searching the room for the correct jars. You’ll need to pick up the one that matches D and place it in the right spot, then do the same with the jar that represents E.
You could probably get away with using a Molotov to solve this puzzle. However, once you put all the jars in the right place, you should be able to finish the puzzle without using it, so you don’t have to worry about it too much.
Once you have all of the correct jars in place, the puzzle will solve itself and you can pick up your new item. This is how you will receive Necrospike and can proceed to unlock the cell.
