The longbow is one of the newer weapons added to V Rising, and you can get it right after crossing level 30. This way, you can meet and fight Lidia the Chaos Archer and get the weapon blueprint. If you haven’t encountered Lidia yet, you can check out our boss guide for the same. Once you defeat her and the blueprint is yours, head over to the Smithy to start the crafting process. While using the Longbow, it can be charged to increase the speed and damage output. This helps break or destroy targets and environmental terrains. Not just that, you can also utilize its Focus skill to stack or boost abilities.
Below are the attack effects for the Longbow
Primary Attack
Hold to charge a projectile. Deals 60-120% physical damage on hit and has a chance to pierce 2 enemies when fully charged. Subsequent hits deal 50% damage from the previous hit. Also grants Focus which can be stacked 3 times, thus increases the effectiveness of other Longbow skills.
Multishot
Shoots 5 piercing arrows in a cone like direction. This deals 100% damage to any enemies hit and also causes knockback. Consumes Focus and launches one additional arrow per stack. Stacks deal 20% bonus damage
Guided Arrow
Any arrow shot will deal 120% physical damage. Also inflicts a 2 second fading snare. The same target will be hit twice with the same arrow after impact, dealing 50% extra damage. Consumes Focus, after which it increases the number of turns the arrow takes to hit. Increases chances by 1 per stack
