In the new Disney game by Gameloft, you will be able to collect materials in order to build things. When you begin the game, you will get a place of your very own once you clear away the purple vines. You will be able to decorate your house the way you want, but you need to procure materials for it. One of them is sand, and if you’ve come across a recipe that requires it, look no further.

It’s quite logical that sand will be found on the beach, so make your way there. However, make sure that you have one of the important Royal Tools with you. Getting the Royal Tools is very important as you need them to play the game. Merlin will tell you to look for them around the map. The one that you need to get sand is the Shovel. If you haven’t procured the tools yet, you can check out our guide on Where to Find All Royal Tools in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Now that you have your shovel and you’re on a beach, you will need to dig. There are some sand piles which you can dig to get sand, and they are limited. You will need to come back for more if you need a lot of sand. So, it’s a good idea to collect all the sand at once at any given time.
If you’re digging a lot, you will lose energy so make sure you have some food with you. If you run out of energy, you will need to return home.
