Once you find and talk to Blackwood, you will receive two quests from him. You can find William Blackwood in the docks of Sainte-Anne. The first contract you need to complete is The African Ailment contract. After picking up the quest, head out to sea and find the ships with the green insignia. You will find the quest marker for The African Ailment on your map, so make your way over there to find the required ship. Once you tackle the ship, you will receive the Corrosive Vile. Return to Blackwood and hand it over to complete the first contract.
Next, you need to get Plaguebringers Captain’s Heads. For this, talk to Blackwood again and pick up the Pest Control contract. Again, you need to sink certain ships and return to Blackwood with the head of the captains. You need to collect two captains heads, so that requires sinking two Plaguebringer ships. Once done, return the heads to Blackwood to complete the quest
