Mythril can be found inside chests within dungeons, but you have to explore dungeons in the later sections of the map to find it. One of the dungeons that do have Mythril is the one located in Plateau Woodland, northwest of your spawn point. This is a late game area to unlock, and you will require iron or steel gear before heading over there. The enemies within this dungeon are Plunderer Elites, and it is also a great dungeon to get Iron Ore. Once you get past the initial stages of the dungeon, you will come across a portal that will take you to the Small Dungeon of Ancient Civilization.
To unlock this portal, you require 3x Green Crystal, 1x Yellow Crystal, and 300x Mask Energy. You should also have Data Update 3 unlocked from the Mask Node Repair menu. You can unlock this node after defeating Vajra Ape boss. Now that the portal is unlocked, head inside and defeat the enemies. You have to look around for chests within the dungeon. Unlock the metal chest in the final arena to get Mythril.
