There are a few ways you can collect feathers in the game. The first way you can gather feathers is while cutting trees. You will need to cut trees to get logs and turn them into planks and sticks. In the process, you can also collect feathers this way. Though this is quite rare, this is the best way to get feathers in the early game.
Another common way to get feathers is by finding crows’ nests around the area. You can find crows nests near ledges, cliffs, and rocky boulders. They can be hidden in the tall grass too, so you need to scavenge around a bit to find the nests. Once you do, pick up all the eggs till the nest is empty, then hold E to check the nest for more items. You might stumble across a feather or two wedged inside the nest. If you can’t find it in the first nest, you can check around for other nests and do the same.
