If you are looking for a new cannon to add to your ship, then you can’t go wrong with the Carronade. You can get the schematic for this for free by unlocking the Smuggler Pass rewards. This is the new season 1 pass, and there are three paths for progression. To get the Carronade schematic, you need to progress through the Gunner Master path. And the only way you can unlock the Season Pass schematics and items is by using Smuggler’s Marks. You can earn 1 Smuggler Mark per 1000 Smuggler Points. Completing the new contracts from Blackwood, increasing infamy, and completing weekly challenges before the week ends are some ways of gathering Smuggler Points and accumulating them to Smuggler Marks.

To obtain the Carronade, you need to gather 30,000 Smuggler’s Points, which is equal to 30 Smuggler Marks. Since this schematic is the final reward under Gunner Master, you need to grind a bit and unlock all the other rewards before you can get the Carronade schematic. The Carronade offers a quicker reload speed, but at a cost of less range. It does offer a 9% increase in gear score when equipped on your ship. Nonetheless, it does offer amazing firepower and accuracy with low recoil. But if you are looking for a cannon that has better range, this one ain’t it
