The new type of magic, Sorceries lets players use spells in fights to take their opponents down, and can be collected by them in the wild or in shops. There are different types of spells that affect the monsters in diverse ways, and it is upto the player to decide which spells to use. The Briars of Sin spell costs 9 FP to cast and uses one slot in the player’s spell inventory. It produces or summons thorns of blood to surround the player while they’re fighting enemies.

The Briars of Sin spell can be purchased from the trader who is called Sorceress Sellen, residing in the Post Town Ruin in Limgrave. It sells for 400 Runes.
How to Use Briars of Sin
