Grinding XP in New World to level up fast can be a pain, but that’s when you don’t know exactly what to grind and how to take advantage of opportunities that will see you progress faster. When you reach levels in the multiple of five, there are various permanent rewards that unlock such as the 2nd Weapon Slot when you reach Level 5, 1st Bag Slot at Level 10, 1st House, and 3rd Quick Slot when you reach Level 15, and so on. Besides these rewards, leveling up also allows you to upgrade your core attributes. So, if you want to progress in the game fast leveling up quickly should be a priority. Complete the Main Quests and Side Quest in the Area

The best way to gain XP fast in New World is to complete the main quests. And while you are at a location, you can also complete the side quests. Every quest has a level to indicate difficulty. Don’t attempt a quest that’s too high from your current level as it would be wasted time.

Complete Town Missions

Town missions do not reward you the same amount of XP as the main quest or the side-quest, but they are easy and you can complete a lot of them quickly. Also, there is an abundance of them in the game. So, take your time to complete town missions.

Take Advantage of the Rested XP Status Effect

If you want to take time off from the game, ensure that you quit when your character has reached a settlement. Doing so rewards you with the Rested XP status effect when you jump back in the next time.  Again, the XP boost is not much, but doing these small things right can stack up the XP over time and help you level fast in New World. Once the Rested XP status effect is active, which can be seen at the XP bar at the bottom with a new grey bar added. You can fill up the grey bar by doing activities that reward you XP.

Take Part in PvP Missions

PvP missions are great for earning weapon XP, but can also help in leveling the character. When the weapon is leveled, you will be able to perform other quests and activities easily. So, take part in PvP missions and kill other players. This will boost weapon mastery. The XP reward varies from one fight to the other. But, sometimes the reward is great.

Take Advantage of Other’s Efforts

Earlier, we said, take advantage of opportunities, we were talking about this point. While in your adventures in New World, if you find a player taking on an enemy, go and help out or at the least, strike the enemy with your sword once. And when the enemy is down, you will also get the reward for downing the enemy. You will gain both character and weapon XP for the bravery and fellowship you displayed.

Complete Quests in High Level Territory

The various territories in New World have varied levels of difficulty and it’s marked by the level. Completing quests in higher-level territories can reward you with more XP, but the quests in these territories are also more difficult. So, don’t undertake a quest unless your level is closer to the territory’s recommended level.  Reekwater and Shattered Mountain are the best in terms of XP rewards, but the level requirement is 60. Completing quests in a high-level territory will help you increase your standing in the territory and provide great XP for faction missions, side quests, and town missions.
