To gather bones during early game, you have to visit graveyards and kill skeletal enemies. While other enemies also have a small chance to drop bones, skeletons have a better drop rate. You will come across plenty of them in Farbane Wood’s Desecrated Graveyard and Infested Graveyard. You can also try your luck at the Forgotten Cemetery, but the enemies here are tougher, so it is best to go here after reaching level 25 and beyond.
If you wish to farm bones in the comfort of your Castle, you can construct Tombs around your Castle Heart. You can get bones from Tombs by placing particular flowers in them and summoning skeletal enemies that you can attack. They are quite easy to defeat and will give you a lot of bones in the process.
