FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is a collaboration with George R. R. Martin the fantasy writer, who is famously known for his book series A Song Of Ice And Fire. Fantasy and RPG fans have been excitedly awaiting the game, which was finally released to the public on 25th February. Elden Ring is a survival RPG that lets players defend the titular Elden Ring and recover all the Great Runes or the broken shards by fighting bosses. They need to repair the Ring to ultimately become the Elden Lord. There are many things that need to be done to achieve this feat, and you’ll be a better player with a little help. This guide will take you through the process of how to enter the Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring
Entering the Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring
Mausoleums are well known for having lots of secrets behind their mysterious walls, but you can’t just approach them. They might look intimidating from a distance and up close, but they aren’t that dangerous. You can get to the Mausoleums on horseback and alight close to the building if you wish to start your exploration.

These buildings are old, and need to be taken down—which is an intense but rewarding exercise. There will be some crystallised substances on the stone outside which you can hack to shatter. Once you’ve done this enough times, the building will lose its integrity and start shaking. You have to be careful not to fall anywhere as you might take damage. Watch out for the falling building, and move away when your efforts finally bring it down.
Once the Mausoleum is down, you will receive grand rewards of Runes or weapons, which you can use to battle more monsters. You will also get to respawn a Remembrance once, and this will allow you to choose another weapon from the Remembrance options.
