To disable the Text Chat option in Skull and Bones, all you have to do is launch the game, head over to the Settings option, and go to Interface. Over here, you will find the Text Chat option, and you can turn it on or off by selecting the box on the right side. You can now load into the actual gameplay and you won’t be bothered by the large chatbox blocking your screen. The only drawback to doing this is that if there are any error messages, you won’t be notified without a chat box.
