You can detect or spot Dragonsplague in your pawns early if you are vigilant enough. There are a few key pointers to keep in mind while you are traveling with your pawns. The first time you hire an infected pawn, you will get notified about the Dragonsplague disease. This is a clear indicator that one of your pawns, namely the one you recently recruited, is infected. Within the following days, you will notice some changes in their behavior and appearance. They will start having red eyes, hold their forehead in pain, or start disobeying commands.
Usually only one pawn might be infected, but if not contained or controlled, then it can quickly spread to the rest of your pawns. Dragonsplague can affect your main pawn and others, so always keep an eye on them if they show any of the above signs.
How to Remove Dragonsplague from a Pawn in Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you detect dragonsplague in your party, do not rest at an inn. This will reset your last save point and also spread the disease to the rest of the pawns. Rather, quickly dismiss all non-infected pawns, then find a way to kill your infected pawn. You can kill pawns by tossing them over mountain ledges or taking away their weapons and leaving them to fend for themselves against enemies.
You should not dismiss infected pawns, but rather lead them to their death. Once they are dead, use the Riftstone to revive them and they will be back to normal without the dragonsplague.
