One of the Gym Leaders who you will be fighting is Grusha, who is the leader of the Ice Type Pokemon Gym. She is the most powerful of them all, and has a lot of high-level Pokemon so you’ll need to be careful when dealing with her.
The first thing that you need to do if you want to defeat Gym Leader Grusha in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is to make your way to Glaseado Mountain. As all of Grusha’s Pokemon are Ice type, you will need to bring a lot of Pokemon that have Fire, Fighting, or Rock Type. The most powerful contender out there to go head-to-head with Grusha is the Pokemon Hawlucha.
You will be able to find Hawlucha at the northeasternmost point of Paldea. It will be level 52 to 54, so this is great for the Ice Battle. The first enemy that you will be up against is the level 47 Frosmoth. If you have Hawlucha, you can use some Flying moves to make quick work of it.
The second Pokemon is a level 47 Beartic who you should ideally combat with a Fighting Type Pokemon. Make sure not to use Pokémon that are weak to Ground attacks. The third Pokemon is a level 47 Cetitan, for which you should also use Fighting Type Pokemon.
The last Pokemon is the most powerful one, a level 48 Ice terastallized Altaria. However, if you have the Hawlucha, it won’t be a big deal, and you will be able to defeat Grusha easily.
