Instead, it builds over time, and when it is in full effect, it can deal severe damage to the players even take their lives.
The only way to cure the effects of Scarlet Rot is to use Preserving Boluses. This item needs to be crafted by acquiring Armorer’s Cookbook (6). You’ll find this Cookbook on a dead body in the Mistwood Ruins (North-east side) near Sifora River. Once you get the Cookbook and the ingredients (1x Dewkissed Herba, 1x Sacramental Bud, and 2x Crystal Cave Moss), you can start the process of crafting Preserving Boluses. These required ingredients will be in the same area as the Cookbook.
