How to Get Trash Cubes in Raft
Trash cubes are the main form of currency in Raft which are used at Trading Posts. They can get you lots of better items in exchange, so it’s a good idea to get started on collecting them as early as you can.

The currency can be made using the Recycler, but you need to get hold of the blueprint first in order to make it. You can find it at the top of the Radio Tower, which is the first story island. This blueprint acts like an activator, and you will be able to make the Recycler once you have picked it up.
To craft the Recycler, you will need 6x Plastic, 4x Metal Ingot, 2x Bolts or Hinges and 1x Circuit Board. Place it on your raft to begin using it. With the help of the Recycler, you will be able to make Trash Cubes.
There are various ways to craft them, with the value of the materials affecting the final cost of the finished Trash Cube. The materials which have higher value can make more expensive Trash Cubes. Since you will probably have a lot of extra Stone by the time you get the Recycler, it’s recommended that you start with those instead of using up other materials which you might need later on in the game. If you have an excess of any item, feed it to the Recycler.
