But taking on a Windmill early in the game is not possible, since climbing up one can be tricky and require a lot of Stamina. Here we will see how to climb the Cherry Windmill in Dying Light 2.

The Cherry Windmill is located in Houndfield, and it is one of the earliest inactive Windmills you will come across. If you check your POI icon on your map, you can check information regarding it and what is required to activate it. You will need at least 300 Stamina if you wish to take on the Cherry Windmill. If you are low, you will need to get Inhibitors to upgrade your Stamina limit. You will need a total of 24 Inhibitors to get your Stamina to level 8, which will equal the Stamina required to climb the Cherry Windmill.
Once you meet the requirements, go back to the location where the Cherry Windmill. Go up close to it and you can spot a yellow board. Grab it, then look behind you at the moving mechanism, wait for it to come to your level, then make a jump for it. While holding on to the object, look behind you to see another yellow board, and you will have to jump and grab that. Look right to see the railing that you will need to jump to, then climb up the ladder to reach the top. Walk across the planks carefully till you reach the generator to turn the windmill on. You have now successfully activated the Cherry Windmill.
