Dinkum is a life and farming simulator game, created by an indie developer in Australia called James Bendon. It is currently out on early access on Steam, and there are a lot of activities that you can perform in the game. These include farming, foraging, hunting and designing. This guide will take you through the process of changing the appearance of your house in Dinkum.
Change the Look of Your House in Dinkum
Once you have built your house, you will get to see the color and decor of the building. Chances are, you want to personalize it and make it look like your own place. There is a way that you can do that, by talking to one of the NPCs in the game.

If you don’t have your building yet and are still living in a tent, consider upgrading. It’s 95,000 Dinks, and you can make a lot more than this in a couple of days by selling items.
To change the look of your house, you will need to speak to Fletch. Make sure to do this before 6 PM. Click on the Option I want to talk about my house, and then Change the look of my house.
Once you select the dialogue, the game will take you to the editing screen where you can select the colors and design for your home. You can change the main color of your house, the accent color, and the roof separately. There are also options to choose the paneling of the exteriors as well as the door and windows.
When you are satisfied with your choices, you will simply need to click on escape as the selections are automatically saved to the day’s progress. Note that you will still need to play through the end of the day and sleep to save the game.
