Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has just been released for the Nintendo Switch platform, and players can try out the game from the 18th of November. There are some major improvements as well as a brand new map to keep players on their toes. The new region of Paldea in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is open for players and Pokemon fans to freely explore in various ways. In this guide, we will take you through the process of how to catch Wo-Chien in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Where to Find Wo-Chien in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
The Four Treasures of Ruin are part of the endgame content in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. They are Ting-Lu, Chien-Pao, Wo-Chien and Chi-Yu. You can collect them by pulling out stakes from different locations on the map, which will erect a Treasure of Ruin in its place.

If you want to catch one of them, namely Wo-Chien, you will need to complete some objectives first. Wo-Chien is a Dark and Grass Type Pokemon with no evolutions. It is also in the Undiscovered Egg Group.
If you want to catch Wo-Chien in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the first thing that you need to do is to collect all 8 purple stakes which are scattered across the Eastern side of the South Province. We already have a tutorial on how to find all of these locations in the following guide: All Purple Stake Locations in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Once you have collected all eight, you can now begin looking for the Shrine that leads to Wo-Chien. You will need to have Koraidon or Miraidon unlocked already by defeating Dondozo the False Dragon Titan in the Path of Legends storyline.
To get to the Shrine, you will need to make your way to South Province Area Five and climb the mountain wall. Navigate southwards by following the edge of the mountain. The Shrine is at the bottom of the cliff, and you can find Wo-Chien here.
