Dinkum is a relaxed town-building and survival game set in the Australian outback. “Australian outback” and “laid back” may not sound like they belong together, but Dinkum’s feel and presentation are more reminiscent of Animal Crossing than Rust’s.
This article will explain what bugs are and how can you catch them in Dinkum.

Catching Bugs in Dinkum
You may use your Net to trap bugs, which you can sell to John for money. This is one of the early-game money-making strategies. You’ll catch bugs early on in the game and various milestones. You will receive Permit points if you accomplish the goals.
You must purchase the Net from John after he arrives in town or opens his business to catch the bugs. John will sell you the Net for 1100 Dinks. Following that, you may begin capturing bugs on the island and selling them to John for money.
It is a simple approach to getting money, but it would be beneficial early on. You may also do additional things after you’ve caught the bugs. You are not always required to sell them to John.
New NPCs will begin to visit your island once John has built his business. An NPC named Theodore will arrive on the island and establish his museum. You can select to give a single insect from each bug specimen. Other NPCs in the game will ask you to report problems in exchange for far nicer stuff than money. You may view people’s requests on the Bulletin Board, and you can perform them to earn helpful stuff.
So, retain some bugs in your inventory to fulfil these requirements or donate them to the Zoo. More game updates may be found in our Dinkum Guide. So, keep playing and catching the bugs.
